Acronis Snap Deploy: Security Identifier (SID) Is Not Changed for Windows Small Business Server 2011

Symptoms

1. You deploy an image of Windows Small Business Server 2011.
2. You specify "Change SID" in the deployment options.
3. SID is not changed.

Cause

Windows Small Business Server 2011 has Domain Controller role enabled by default. Domain Controller server stores domain SID which should be the same on all domain machines and therefore is not supposed to be altered.

Solution

SID cannot be changed for Windows Small Business Server 2011.
