Acronis vmProtect: Troubleshooting Slow Replication

Complete all steps before proceeding to collect information step. 

1. If the Hot-Add functionality cannot be used because Acronis vmProtect Windows Agent is installed or the virtual appliance is running on another VMware ESXi host, check whether replication speed differs if you run backup task from a virtual appliance running on the same VMware ESXi host as the source (replicated) virtual machine.
2. If the Hot-add functionality is used, check replication speed with another virtual appliance running on the target ESXi host. This test should show whether the problem is related to the specific virtual appliance or not. 
3. Check replication speed to the source virtual machine's ESXi host . 
4. Check the copying speed between source and target VMware ESXi host subnets. 

These tests are crucially important for problem localization and defining the bottleneck of the replication speed. If all steps above have been executed and the root cause is still not clear, go to collect information step.

Collect the following information and contact Acronis Customer Central.

1. Results of tests performed in the Troubleshooting step;
2. Detailed information about the VMware ESXi hosts and detailed information about the network connection between these hosts.
3. Debug log of replication task operation captured as described in Acronis vmProtect: Collecting Debug Logs for Virtual Appliance and Windows Agent.
4. Acronis System Reports from the machine with Acronis vmProtect Windows Agent installed if the problem appears using Windows Agent. It can be collected with the AcronisInfo utility.
